Conditions for immigration to Canada. For what and how many points is there?
According to the system proposed by the Canadian authorities, the applicant, who is gaining the required number of points (currently 67 points), can obtain the right to permanent residence in Canada.
For fluency in English and French, you can get 24 points. The exam assesses four aspects of language proficiency (languages): reading, writing, listening comprehension, speaking ability.
The applicant speaks very well, understands, reads and writes in English or French. Points from 6.5 (for listening - from 7) to 9 for the IELTS testify to a high level of language proficiency, and the applicant receives 4 points on the immigration scale.
The applicant speaks, understands, reads and writes well in English or French. Points from 5 (5.5 for reading) to 6.5 (for listening - up to 7) for the IELTS testify to the average level of language knowledge, and the applicant receives 2 points on the immigration scale.
The applicant showed a level of proficiency below the level of Moderate proficiency. Points below 5 (for reading - below 4.5) and at least 4 (at least 3.5 for reading and 4, 5 for listening) for the IELTS testify to the basic level of language knowledge, and the applicant receives 1 point on the immigration scale.
The applicant has demonstrated knowledge of the language below the level of Basic proficiency and the scores for language knowledge at this level for immigration purposes are not appropriate.

The applicant must have at least one year of work experience that meets the above requirements.
